Red Hot Lovers”

A married man (Derrick Amunga) wants to have one sweeping extra-marital romantic fling in his tranquil, faithful, marriage before life passes him by. On three different afternoons, he brings women to his mother's apartment while she's at the hospital doing work. A gentle soul with no experience in adultery, he embarks on seducing three different women: a sexpot (Mbeki Mwalimu) who likes cigarettes, whiskey, and other women's husbands, an actress friend (Naomi Wanjiru) who he discovers is psychopathic, and his wife's best friend (Veronica Waceke), a staunch moralist. He chooses three of the worst possible women on the planet. It kind of takes him by surprise.
Behind plentiful laughs is a tender portrayal of a decent fellow who just can't succeed in sinning. This is a comedy that will linger with you even when the laughs become an appreciative memory.
"Last of the Red Hot Lovers" is directed by Mbeki Mwalimu. The play is produced by Abuto Eliud.
